A monk is a specialist in oriental martial arts or in unarmed fights. He prefers occuring from cumbersome armors to avoid losing his speed and resists from hits better than most of the other fighters. Main stats are vitality and dexterity. The use of forbidden weapons and armors makes him lose his bonus.
How to become a Monk
You have to a level 50+ to become one. Strength have not to be superior to 40, vitality and dexterity have to be high.
Hand Attack
The system of unarmed fight has been reviewed to allows Monk's class. Hand Attack skill is limited by vitality and not strength, calculation of damage is now based on vitality. We can say that two styles exists : Martial arts reserved to monks and boxe to others ...
Advantages et limitations
- Bonus for hitting equal to half of Hand Attack skill
- Bonus for defence ratio equal to half of Hand Attack skill
- Special blow : a shout can hit vitals points and be terrible
- Can't be poisoned at level 120 and above
- Can't be paralyzed at level 130 and above
- Cap, Hat, Hauberk, Helm, Hoses, Leggings, Scale Mail, Chain Mail, Plate Mail, Shield forbidden
- For a monk with a vitality below 200, NunChaKu which take place of shield allows to increase damage but he loses his bonus
- At level 100 and above, a monk can turn a Hauberk or Hoses into clothe. Armor have to be not upgraded by a Gizon point, an alchemy potion or a Merien Stone (Do detailed request at ludoyul59@yahoo.fr).
